Dino-Lite Part | °F Rating | °C Rating | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
Internal electronic components | 14°F ~ 131°F | -10°C ~ 55°C | ||
External Housing | 14°F ~ 158°/ 176°F | -10°C ~ 70°C / 80°C | ||
Microscope USB Cable | -4°F ~ 176°F | -20°C ~ 80°C | ||
AM nozzle | 14°F ~ 266°F | -10°C ~ 130°C | ||
AD nozzles | 14°F ~ 158°F | -10°C ~ 70°C | ||
WF-10 | Use: 32°F ~ 104°F | Storage: -4°F ~ 140°F | Use: 0°C ~ 40°C | Storage: -20° C ~ 60° C |
Note: Due to the internal adhesive, using the device in an environment over 70°C is NOT recommended. In higher temperature applications it’s recommended to use a metal exterior unit.
High-pressure environment
Dino-Lite models with a 3rd digit "1" or 2nd letter "A" in the model number (I.e. AD3713TB, AD4113T, AM4113ZT, AM413ZTAS, etc.) are designed with a special housing that makes them better suited for high pressure environments. The MSAH302 Protective Enclosure (sold separately) can also help protect the Dino-Lite in high pressure environments. Dino-Lite digital microscopes can operate in pressures up to 125 psi if the pressure is gradually increased. The pressure should not be rapidly increased.
Vacuum environment
Dino-Lite are not recommended for use in a vacuum environment as there are potential issues with lubrication of the magnification dial.
