Instead of adjusting settings manually every time you launch DinoCapture, you can apply your preferred configuration automatically.
Steps to Save Custom Camera Adjustments
Follow these steps to configure and save your preferred DinoCapture settings:
1. Open DinoCapture – Ensure that your Dino-Lite microscope is connected to your computer and launch the DinoCapture software.

2. Open Camera Adjustments Settings – In the top right corner of the Live View window,
select the (DinoCapture 3.0) or
(DinoCapture 2.0) wrench icon to open the Settings menu.


3. Adjust Desired Settings – Modify the camera settings to your preference. This may include brightness, contrast, saturation, monochrome, and other imaging parameters.
4. Check the box to load these settings – Once you’ve adjusted the settings to your satisfaction, Check the box to save your default settings:
- DinoCapture 3.0: Bottom left, “Use these settings as default”
- DinoCapture 2.0: Bottom right, “Load the current setting on startup”
Restoring Default Camera Adjustment Imaging Settings
If you ever need to revert to the Camera Adjustment to original factory settings:
1. From the live view window, open the Camera Adjustment settings menu by click on the applicable wrench icon o
2. Click on the Defecto botón.
Default Resolution & Other Settings
There are more settings in the Live View window that can be set to default. To do this, Right-click on the desired menu items and select “Set as Default…”
