El Dino-Lite EdgeMÁS 3.0 AM83917MT8A is a specialized 8-megapixel USB 3.0 digital microscope combining extreme high magnification (700x to 900x) with built-in axial illumination. Operating over a high-speed USB 3.0 Type-C interface, it streams fluid, uncompressed YUY2 live video at frame rates up to 15FPS at full 8MP resolution (or up to 60FPS at 2MP), making it an ideal platform for semiconductor, wafer, material analysis, and optical inspection.
- High Magnification (700x–900x): Delivers extreme optical magnification to reveal microscopic surface details, fine scratches, and intricate structures impossible to detect with standard lenses.
- Axial (Coaxial) Illumination: Directs light along the optical path to illuminate flat, highly reflective surfaces like silicon wafers, glass, crystals, and polished metals without harsh reflections or shadows.
- 8MP High-Speed USB 3.0: Delivers uncompressed 8MP imaging (3840 x 2160 at 16:9 aspect ratio) at 15FPS, or up to 60FPS at 2MP, providing lag-free live viewing of fine surface details.
- Extended Depth of Field (EDOF): Automatically captures and stacks multiple focal layers into a single, fully focused image of complex 3D surfaces with a single click.
- Depth Acquisition (DPQ): Utilizes refined focus control to capture accurate depth data for evaluating surface textures and height variations.
- Automatic Magnification Readout (AMR): Automatically detects and logs current magnification levels into the software, eliminating manual entry errors and ensuring accurate measurements.
- Enhanced Flexible LED Control (eFLC): Allows precise brightness control across lighting modes to maximize contrast on challenging reflective targets.
- Auto & Manual Refocus: Fine-tunes focus directly through software using simple mouse inputs (clicking points of interest or scrolling).
- Anodized Aluminum Housing: Constructed with a rugged metal alloy casing that provides durability against physical impacts while delivering electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding.
