The improved optics of the Edge series offer a flat focal plane across the entire image. A new interchangeable front cap design expands the capabilities of the Dino-Lite in several ways.

Beyond the new optics and front cap design, the Edge series introduces several new optional features including AMR, EDOF, FLC, and more. These improvements are available in 1.3 MP and 5 MP versions, as well as the Edge 3.0 and Edge^PLUS series.
