The official magnification range of this microscope is 20x to 220x, however, this model is capable of focusing at 10x at longer distances.

The Dino-Lite AM5216ZT Edge Series features a High Definition VGA connection and improved optics for sharper images. It easily allows for the observation of objects at touch proximity within its wide magnification range of 20x – 220x. Capable of 60 frames per second at 720p (1280 x 720), this model is ideal for observing specimens effectively with minimum lag while in motion. Built on is an adjustable polarizer to help suppress unwanted glare or reflections. With this feature, this model is suitable for a wide range of applications including the inspection, repair and assembly involving reflective or translucent materials, with examples such as soldering, quality inspection, or jewelry fabrication. No computer or software required for this model that connects directly to a monitor or TV with VGA connections.
R4 & R6 Versions:
- R4: MicroTouch is configured to quickly freeze video frames with a single tap of a finger, or hold to toggle the LEDs on/off.
- R6: Hold the Microtouch for 1 second to freeze frame, tap it again to unfreeze.
- Press and hold the Microtouch for 2 seconds till the LED flash twice to shut the light off and another 2 seconds to turn it on.
