The Dino-Lite EdgePLUS AM83917MZTL is a high-performance 8-megapixel USB 3.0 digital microscope engineered with Long Working Distance (LWD) optics for applications requiring extra clearance between the microscope lens and target object. Delivering a 10x – 140x magnification range over a high-speed USB 3.0 Type-C interface, it streams fluid, uncompressed YUY2 live video with exceptional color fidelity at frame rates up to 15 fps at full 8MP resolution (or up to 60 fps at 2MP).
- Long Working Distance (10x-140x): Provides extended clearance and field of view, making it ideal for tasks requiring tool manipulation, soldering, assembly, or inspecting delicate specimens under the lens.
- 8MP High-Speed USB 3.0: Delivers uncompressed 8MP imaging (3840 x 2160 at 16:9 aspect ratio) at 15 fps, or up to 60 fps at 2MP, providing lag-free live viewing of fine surface details.
- Extended Depth of Field (EDOF): Automatically captures and stacks multiple focal layers into a single, fully focused image of complex 3D surfaces with a single click.
- Depth Acquisition (DPQ): Utilizes refined focus control to capture accurate depth data for evaluating surface textures and height variations.
- Automatic Magnification Readout (AMR): Automatically detects and logs current magnification levels into the software, eliminating manual entry errors and ensuring accurate measurements.
- Enhanced Flexible LED Control (eFLC) & Polarizer: Features 32-level brightness adjustments across two independent LED quadrant groups, paired with a built-in adjustable polarizer to suppress reflection and glare on reflective surfaces.
- Auto & Manual Refocus: Fine-tunes focus directly through software using simple mouse inputs (clicking points of interest or scrolling).
- Extended Dynamic Range (EDR): Combines multiple exposures to reveal hidden details in severe shadows or bright highlights on high-contrast targets.
- Anodized Aluminum Housing: Constructed with a rugged metal alloy casing that provides durability against physical impacts while delivering electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding.
