This is a Long Working Distance model, due to the range required for focusing at specific magnifications, we recommend the use of a stand.
The official magnification range of this microscope is 10x to 140x, however, this model is capable of focusing at 5x at longer distances.

The Dino-Lite AM5212NZTL Long Working Distance digital microscope offers a 960H resolution sensor, and a magnification range of 10x ~ 140x, providing real-time inspection and on-screen magnified viewing on TVs and monitors.
This model is equipped with a polarizer to help suppress unwanted glare. The MicroTouch button on this model is configured to toggle the LEDs on/off. No computer or software required for this model that connects directly to a monitor or TV via Video Component connection.
